As a Registered Nurse, you'll deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity every step of the way. What You'll Do - Provide safe, high-quality care to patients of all ages receiving infusion therapies.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized nursing care plans for patients and families.
- Monitor patients closely during infusions, responding to changes and ensuring safety.
- Administer chemotherapy, IV medications, injections, and blood products with precision.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effects, and self-care.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to meet care goals.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and accurately.
- Mentor colleagues, support staff development, and participate in unit projects.
- Uphold patient rights, privacy, and respect in all interactions.
What You Bring - Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Massachusetts RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- Medical-Surgical and infusion/chemotherapy experience preferred.
- ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy certification highly preferred; OCN certification a plus.
- Strong IV skills, assessment abilities, and critical thinking.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Comfort with technology and a commitment to confidentiality.
